Forest yellow flowers dye
Collecting dandelions, parsnip, queen Anne’s lace? and other yellow flowers in the forest. (I left the clover for later.)
I soaked the flowers in water overnight.
I boiled the flowers in the same water, reduced to simmer for half an hour and left overnight to steep.
The next day, I dyed silk and cotton (on top) with two modifiers:
Calcium Carbonate
Vinegar
I simmered fabric for one hour and left the fabric to cool down in the dye bath.
