Sequoia blanket

One experiment: charmeuse silk.

Heat water until 80 degrees. Added sequoia (2 tbs) disolved in hot water. Blanket was soaked in this hot dye for 30 minutes.

Target silk was scoured and mordanted with alum previously. On the day of ecoprint, the silk was soaked in water first, then soaked in Alum for half hour and rinsed. Then soaked in iron for one minute and rinsed.

Both target and blanket were squeezed well.
